Annan, Dumfries and the Dalveen Pass with Teuchter on a bike

Sunday was a bit of a treat – I got the chance to head out with Ron, better known as Teuchter on a Bike on YouTube.

I set off from Annan Tesco around half past eight and made my way up to Dumfries where we met at Greggs. Nothing too fancy – just a coffee and a catch-up before we geared up and hit the road.

From there, we made our way over the Dalveen Pass. What a road – wide sweeping bends, rolling hills, and those big open views that make you glad you’re on two wheels. The weather played along too, which always makes a difference.

What really made the ride though was the company. Ron’s been at this much longer than me, but he was nothing but gracious, keeping to my pace and making sure I was comfortable the whole way. It was great to ride with someone more experienced and just enjoy the road without any pressure.

Glorious scenery, good roads, and great company – can’t ask for much more than that on a Sunday morning.

This was just Part One of our day out – more miles and more adventures to come in Part Two.
